In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might.
Ephesians 6:10 (AMP)
I know yesterday wasn’t you finest. You snapped at someone. You didn’t do something you said you were going to do. I know you woke with all sorts of negative thoughts rolling around in your head about what happened yesterday, about tomorrow, about you, about your life and about your family. I know, but I got you.
The enemy’s first mode of attack against you is your thoughts. If he can get you thinking thoughts that do not line up with My Word, he can steal, kill and destroy your joy, peace, happiness, your testimony about my goodness (John 10:10). His attacks can be so persistent and so formidable that you want to give in and give up. Don’t. I got you.
I can defeat the enemy for you. In fact, I am the only One who can defeat him and I’ve already done so for you. Lean on Me. Rely on My strength. Call out My name—Jesus. I won’t fail you. You are not alone. I got you.
