See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception [pseudo-intellectual babble], according to the tradition [and musings] of mere men, following the elementary principles of this world, rather than following [the truth—the teachings of] Christ.

Have you ever made anything from scratch? Maybe it was a piece of pottery. Or a garment or an app. Maybe it was a story, a poem, a vaccine or a room design. No matter the thing, did it tell you how it wanted to be made? Did it tell you how it wanted to be used? Of course it didn’t. You were the creator with dominion over the thing.
And so it is with Me. I am the Creator. I am the Supreme Being with dominion and power over all creation. No one or thing is higher than Me. I determine how I want My creations to worship and honor Me. In My infinite wisdom, I determine what is best for My creations and the best is My truth. I love you unconditionally and want the best for you always so I sent My Son to you to show and teach you the truth and I left My Spirit with you to guide you to the truth.
